With place-based academic support and supervision by a health professional, you will learn in smaller teams, with opportunities to engage in supported interprofessional learning activities that are intentionally designed to aligned to local community needs. An immersive community engagement program enables you to experience rural life for yourself. This element of the program extends to being part of local community activities that are focused on working towards improving public health and wellbeing in rural regions, as well as strengthening the rural health system.
